Well, excitement is mounting, equipment is being purchased, postcards are being mailed, signs are being printed … this could all only mean one thing …

UBC is about to, officially, begin.

Our little Gathering on Sunday mornings has begun to take shape and you can expect some more surprises and elements this week.

What can I expect?

First off, let’s say this. This is not an EVENT, and we are not an event-centric church. This will be UBC as UBC will look the week after, and the week after that (of coarse, we are always evolving and growing together). We will not have a celebrity that you will never meet again. We will not have band triple the size of our regular group. We are not meeting in a different venue. Love it or leave it, this Sunday you will meet Urban Bridge Church.

And we hope we will meet you too.

When do I show up?

Come at 10 AM for Coffee and Conversation, and then enter the theatre, our Sacred Space, as you please. We will get the Gathering rolling at 10:30.

We will be out of the theatre by 12 noon. Grab a friend – or someone new you just met – and go have lunch together!

Where do I go?

We are meeting every week at the Royal Alberta Museum. Yes, the Museum.
