Our New Digs
MacEwan University, our new home.
As you know for the past number of months we have been looking for a new location to hold our Sunday morning gatherings.
The Royal Alberta Museum has been a great venue for the past four years but recognizing that the theatre will be undergoing renovations, we have always known it would not be permanent. There are things we have been looking hard for in a new location, most importantly the solution to our current lack of sufficient spaces for our growing group of children.
As we have searched as a community, we have prayed, held meetings and visited a number of potential sites. Thanks to all who joined in helping select a new site.
Our search has led us to the CN Conference Theatre in MacEwan University’s downtown campus. Effective Aug 8 our new meeting place is at MacEwan University in the CN Conference Theatre (180 seats located on the first floor of the 105th Street Building and Classroom 5-106 and 5-110).

The CN Conference Theatre stage
Here are some of the benefits of this new home;
- the university is in the heart of urban Edmonton, where we want to be
- there is excellent public transit to the campus
- we have dedicated childcare space
- there is lots of free, on-street parking
- we can take coffee into the theatre
