Rwanda – Our International Focus

We are looking to relationships already established in the country of Rwanda to help out those living with HIV/AIDS outside of our local community. Our friend Prisca is involved in building Mercy Houses which house and care for up to 5 AIDS widows and their children. Prisca also works with the local church, where her husband pastors, to bring aid. Although we are still in the planning stages of what our help could look like, we have already sent funds to help build more Mercy Houses in Rwanda.

Rwanda Team 2009

We are taking a team to Rwanda in 2009.

Urban Bridge has been involved in providing housing in Rwanda for HIV- Aids widows and orphans for the past two years. We leave Sept 22 and return Oct 11.

Our goals are to:

visit the Widows homes
scope out future opportunities for the Urban Bridge Community to provide Health/Wellness and Skills Training opportunities for Rwandan Citizens
Check out the possibility of assisting in planting a Rwandan church

The Team is Darrell Muth, Cheryl Muth, Jordan Majeau, Erin Mulcair and Brian Pytel.
