Join us for an evening of fun and food around some sort of “hearth”.

For the past 2 years Urban Bridge Church has taken one Sunday away from our regular service to participate in something we care a great deal about: The AIDS Walk for Life.

This year Urban Bridge Church will once again be sponsoring the event as a community, but we wanted to go above that and participate in raising funds as individuals from Urban Bridge Church.

Even if you can’t volunteer or sponsor us, please join us in the Walk for Life on September 20, 2009 at 11am. The 5km event begins at Churchill Square.

Dave Von Bieker will be leading the charge to Capital Ex next Friday night, July 17.

We will meet up at the doors adjacent to Borden Park (close to the horse racing and the dreamhome) at 6:30 PM, then walk the grounds and have a blast, ending the night with fireworks. If you’re interested in rides, Save-On-Foods has all day ride passes for Capital Ex for $38 until July 16. Gate admission is $10 (or included in pre-purchased ride passes). Interested? What to bring: lawn chairs AND if your last name begins with A-M bring a salad, N-Z bring a desert.

Come and see UP in 3D at West Edmonton Mall, this Sunday June 7th.. Show starts at 2:20 PM, and we’ll meet at the theater at 1:45 to be sure we can sit together … for the movie experience of a lifetime!

As we begin our decent to finishing up for the year, we are doing something that has brought us together many nights, movie time at Jordan’s! This Sunday May 17th we will be watching, not Waterworld (sorry Darrell), but  T2 and T3 in preparation for Terminator Salvation. First movie starts at 4, we will break for a BBQ at 6 and then we will start the second movie at about 7. Then on the 31st we will so see Salvation in the theater (if you can wait that long). Come for the whole thing or join us for a portion of the event.
